Freedom Needs Character!!!

I have been told in the past that I’m quite a character, and I know sometimes I am. But I hope it is never said that I have no character or integrity. Before I became a Christian back in October 1982, I did lack character and integrity, and I wasn’t a very good person. I hope, and I believe it has, my walk with Jesus has changed me from the person I was to the man I aspire to be.

When you lack character and integrity, nothing matters to you but what you can wring out of today. You only live for yourself and other folks in your life don’t matter. Your word is no good and for someone to place any faith in you would be foolish. Character and integrity are the backbone of society and without them, society can’t survive!!!

It is my belief that we need to be people of the book (God’ word) and live by the good example that Jesus has left us. When you follow Christ, you can’t help but be folks of character and integrity. We see the character and integrity of Christ and we want to be like him, and help other realize what Jesus can mean to them and their lives. We have freedom because we are people of character and integrity, let us always defend that character and integrity in us and other, so we will always have freedom!!!
