What an absolute mess there was at some of the nations airports over the weekend!!! There seemed to be instant protest popping up at a few of our nations airports over president Trump’s EO’s on immigration and refugees.
For the most part folks did not read the EO’s, and for most progressives, they will not read them. They believe what they are being told and have not researched it for themselves!!! Progressives are still throwing a hissy fit that Hillary didn’t win!!! For most of them they will not soil their minds with anything having to do with President Trump or is EO’s. So they stay ignorant of any facts and are relying on others to keep them informed!!!
In this day and age there is no excuse not to be informed and be able to find the facts and the truth for yourself!!! When you rely on other to tell you how things are, you are a slave to their whims and ideological positions!!! Most progressive think of themselves as free thinkers, how free are you letting some else do your thinking for you?

Courageous Conversations My reply to a progressive friend on Facebook
I think it is a good idea to always be willing to talk with folks and have a good conversation about what we believe. I’m a constitutional conservative, and a New Testament Christian. My walk with Christ informs the rest of my world view.
I have the opportunity to speak will a lot of folks about God and politics through my radio show. Here are a few observations I have about conversations centered on politics.
More times than not people listen to reply, not understand. Some people jut want to get their point of view out, and will not listen to understand any point of view that differs from their own.
On the subject of a courageous conversation, their needs to be a mutual respect for both parties and their views. There also needs to be an agreement that only truth and facts as they are, not as we want them to be, will be used. To many times in conversations I have had with folks, if I challenge something I don’t agree with, the conversation quickly slides into a one word name calling spree, and the conversation is then over.
From what I have observed lately, that is what is going on with some of the protests around the country. Instead of engaging in a conversation, some groups resort to violence and name calling, fueled by verifiable “fake news” that people take at face value instead of doing some simple online research to see if the news is real or fake.
I still believe in this great Republic in which we live, and support freedom and liberty for every man, women and child. If your courageous conversations supports folks freedoms and liberties I’m all for them. In our great Republic the people are sovereign over the states and the states are sovereign over the federal government. As long as you are not infringing on or taking away folks rights, lets sit down and have a good conversation.
