I have been talking a lot about civil public discourse on my show and I do believe the healing of this country can only happen when that occurs. We the People need to start at the grassroots level in our homes and local communities to affect change. We will not change this nation and the direction it is going in by electing a small group of people to go to Washington D.C.
When we put Jesus Christ back at the forefront of our lives and share the message of the gospel with our friends and neighbors, that will get the ball rolling for real effective change!!! Only then can we change the direction of civil public discourse, and then the direction of our country that God has blessed us with!!!
Daily bible reading: Jas 5:16-20 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. 19 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, 20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.
