Is America heading in the same direction as Venezuela? Can God turn things around for us? Is socialism the way to go? Is it big centralized government that controls every aspect of our lives the way to go?
This is a response to a socialist; “Why are educated people so ignorant when it comes to the facts? Taxing isn’t bad if it used to do basic public services like, military, law enforcement, roads. Your definition of socialism is a milk toast version that has never existed! In order for you to be able to have your socialist utopia, you need to use force to bring all the citizens into compliance. For most of Americas history we thrived without your socialistic ideas and became the wealthiest country in history, not by socialism, but by free market capitalism. Only through free market capitalism, do socialist have the wealth to exploit and redistribute to those who did not earn it! If socialism is such a good idea why do you need to force people to accept it? If socialism is such a good idea, why did the socialist leaders of the last century have to kill more than 200 million people to protect it? Why do socialist go to roads as one of their examples? Roads are paid with excise taxes from the sale of gasoline, that my free market job helps me pay for, and are built by free market companies (to government standards) using materials brought to you by the free market!!! If you want so bad to live in a socialist country, may I suggest Venezuela?”
