Episode 893   Sports and politics, a good combination right? If you think it’s a good thing to mix your sports with your politics, you would be very wrong. About the only time I want to hear sports and politics spoken in the same breath would be to condemn how much tax dollars the NFL gets from we the tax payers.

Anti-freedom groups are some what crafty in what and how they protest issues. It’s really not the issues themselves, but how divisive the issue is and whether or not it will have the desired outcome. Western culture, in the eyes of the anti-freedom groups, is something to be despised and hated. Whatever anti-freedom groups can do to bring about the change they desire, they will do. And it really doesn’t matter is they have to be hypocritical to bring about that change, their end goal of collectivism is the prize.

The hard fought for freedoms and liberties we enjoy in America, are not trivial, and should never be taken for granted. The freedom to do or not to is part of what it means to be an American. To force someone to act against their conscience is wrong and should never be tolerated. When and where to exercise our freedoms is up to the individual, but others have the freedom to disagree with you. Reasoning things through when a difference of opinion arises, is the best and only way to ensure that we all live free!!! The best thing to do is keep your politics out of sports. I want to see my favorite teams play, and share that common ground with friends and family!!!

Episode 892:  Best of Show   Episode 830: Does the Constitution, freedom and liberty matter today?  

Time and time again I have folks tell me they want what they want from the government regardless if the government has the authority to give it too them. Folks have a wrong definition on what rights are and how they work. I hear most folks tell me that if they want it then it’s there right to have it.

The SCOTUS is doing a good job going through their cases and making rulings mostly in accordance with the US Constitution. But as Americans we can’t get lulled into a false sense of security that SCOTUS will all do the right thing and make correct rulings. We the People have the final say in what is or is not constitutional!!!

We need to go back to the basics of the Declaration of Independence and all the other founding documents to understand what this Republic is all about. We need to see what rights are according to the founders. And in my opinion the most important thing to see is how the founders viewed governance in view of Christian morality!!!
