As the days go by, and we get further away from the 2016 presidential elections, more people are thinking violence is the only way to be heard!!! There are a lot of folks in America who don’t agree with the election results and will do whatever it takes to change the outcome of the election.
We saw violence erupt at UC Berkeley California when Milo Yiannopoulos was scheduled to speak there. The militant left doesn’t like the fact that one of their protected class individuals is behaving like an individual with his own opinions that differ from their norm.
And worse yet, we have members of congress encouraging this type of violent behavior in speeches and on television!!! Isn’t this against the law to incite violence? And should this violence have any place in true peaceful public discourse?

Will America survive disinformation?
We as Americans are drowning in a sea of disinformation!!! Almost everything you read, see, or hear is disinformation designed to sway the way you think about different subjects. There are some on the left who state that it is their right to use violence to suppress those they think are using hate speech or just speech and ideas they don’t agree with. Is this their right? Can your rights trump my rights? (pun intended)
We as American need to stop taking at face value everything we read, hear or see in the news. WE need to be responsible enough to do our own due diligence and see if what we are being told is facts or just propaganda!!!
How does the average American citizen do this? Do a little research every week into the news sources you use and compare them to others. If they have references, cite their sources and use verifiable facts (you can use the internet for other things besides social media) you can trust the source. If the news source does not do this then tune them out and find a better source, you really don’t need that kind of negativity in your lives!!!

Deceptively Divisive!!!
I was watching the confirmation hearing in the Senate concerning Jeff Sessions for AJ of the United States, and I was not surprised but more appalled at the lack of truth coming from the democrat side of the hearings.
What I find appalling is that they are still going off a fake narrative about issues they have with president Trump. We all know by now the vulgar talk that was caught on a hot mic years ago, and that president Trump has already addressed this and ask forgiveness. The other issues that were brought up before the final vote were all part of the “FAKE NEWS” narrative that has been crafted by progressives in this country.
By continually repeating these lies and crafting new ones, the progressives continue by deception to divide this country. And the worst part is some Americans are not even trying to discern wither or not they are being told the truth!!!

Progressives over the past 100 years had crafted our country into the all powerful state that it is today, and when someone is elected to the presidency that may dismantle if not most of the state then parts of it, they get mad!!! They are literally having a hissy fit!!!
The American people woke up this past election to the fact that the progressives in America don’t care about them or their families. They woke up to the fact that the only thing they care about is power and control and will craft any narrative to achieve that end!!!
Both republicans and democrats have put in place bureaucracies that are independent of the American people and do little to secure our freedoms and liberties!!! An now there is a man in the White House who promised to drain the swamp, and is doing so, and the progressives in both parties are loosing there minds!!!
I hope that president Trump succeeds in breaking down the state that is so much against the freedoms and liberties we as Americans cherish so much!!!

I guess progressives can’t read!!!
Don’t be seduced by the dark side!!!
There is a political movement that has been around since Woodrow Wilson was president and it called progressivism. Now progressivism sound innocuous, but it is anything but. There is a dark side to it, or should I say that is the only side to it.
Progressivism is based in ethical humanism, which sounds good until you dive deeper into the issue and see what they base their ideas on. In short humanism is based on the evolutionary idea that man is just another animal, and mankind is it’s own highest authority. They believe they can have heaven on earth through the state, and that everyone is equal and all ideas (if they agree with their authoritarian ideas) are of equal value and that there is no good or evil.
This is why most freedom and liberty loving Americans can wrap their minds around ethical humanism, because humanism rejects the notion of individual liberty and freedom!!! The state is the end all be all of ordered society!!!

Can virtues and morals coexist with humanism?
Alexis de Tocqueville’s Democracy in America (1835/1840) is one of the books on my reading list. I have read a few chapters and some important point that Tocqueville has made in the book and it is amazing the clarity of thought that Tocqueville has when critiquing the American democracy (Republic) as he traveled around our new nation.
What struck me most in an article I read Tocqueville and Democracy’s Fall in America at thepublicdiscourse.com was his forewarning of our Republics fall if we failed to keep morals, virtue, and equality in their proper places. Tocqueville also spoke of ethics based on what the body politic wanted at the time and that could change in the future and cause the lines of distinction to be blurred on a whole host of things, especially equality.
We all stand equal before God and the law, and what we do with that equality is what defines us and makes us different from each other!!!

Personal Responsibility
One of the things I have seen as a common theme throughout all the protest that have been taking place,is lack of personal responsibility!!! During the primaries, people flocked to Bernie Sanders because they wanted free stuff and didn’t want the responsibility of securing those things they wanted through hard work and determination!!!
The mobs of unruly thugs over this past weekend prove that people are mad because they see in president Trump, a man who wants them to work for what they have, and not simply have it given to them!!!
The women’s march this past weekend also shows that a small percentage of women (because they don’t represent the vast majority of right thinking women) don’t want to be responsible for their personal choices, and use abortion to try to correct bad behavior. Two wrongs have never made a right and never will.
Until we help one another to return to a God centered, morally-oriented life that preserves and protects freedoms and liberty for everyone, including babies in the womb, this great Republic will fail and the so called rights that these socially irresponsible individuals protest for, will be theirs and this Republic’s undoing!!!

Do you know what you stand for?
There were a lot of protester at the marches over the weekend that did not have a clue as to why they were there. Some folks could not articulate their reasons for marching, only that they were mad at something.
These folks I believe are the professional protesters that come out and are sometimes paid to do so, and cause problems just by being there. For the most part all of the video I saw showed a lot of the people at the marches had no clue about the issues, or worse yet were there because of “fake news” stories that had been debunked days and weeks before, but they didn’t get the memo.
I believe in peaceful protesting, but I also believe you need to know what your protesting and be able to give answer for you actions that is coherent and articulate!!!

Hypocrisy abounds on the left!!!
We were treated to the open display and disdain the left has for reasonable and inclusive protest this past Saturday. The Women’s march (which did not include pro-life women because they were dis-invited) included a muslim women who supports sharia law, A leading black feminist who speaks on women’s issues and prison reform – is a convicted murderer and kidnapper, a singer who wants to blow up the White House, and an actress who is a nasty women.
Most of the women who attended were dressed up as a woman’s vagina, or wore pink hats on their heads that represented a woman’s vagina. And the worst part was some women used their young daughters as political props during these protest.
One last note was the amount of trash these women on the left threw on the ground and left behind for sanitation workers to clean up!!! Don’t these progressive women care about the enviroment also!!!
