Watermelons marching on America
Comrades to the left of me, fascist to the right of me, freedom stuck right in the middle!!! Every where you look now a days you see anti-freedom protesters marching for various causes. Often times without a clue as to the cause or even being able to answer simple questions as to why they are marching and protesting.
College students who think they know more than anyone else in the room, often are not even clued in on policy, positions, and simple facts. Video after video show how ill informed they are when it comes to anything political. They are told a narrative and without any questions they run with the narrative as fact, even when it is proven to be false.
The anti-freedom crowd in America is getting better organized and louder. The only problem is they know so much that really isn’t true. We can defeat this narrative the anti-freedom crowd is pushing with simple facts and analysis. But we also need to be active in countering the anti-freedom groups, and their narrative.

More Freedom or Less Freedom?
Everyday we have to get up in the morning and decide what we are going to do today. Some times we plan our day the night before, and some times we have a more free spirit about us and plan on the fly as we go. But WE are still in charge of what we are going to do each day. We have more freedom and liberty than any body else in the world!!!
There are groups in America that think we have too much freedom and they seek to curtail our freedoms in a fashion and manner that they dictate. They curtail our freedoms and liberty in different ways. Out right in your face confrontations like bullies on a school yard, or through more subtle ways like government regulations and policies.
We need to realize as Americans, that God has blessed us greatly with our country!!! As Americans we have a responsibility to the generations that come after us, to secure the freedoms and liberties we enjoy now, for them. We need to stand up to the bullies in the anti-freedom movements, and declare to them, “THIS LINE AND NO FURTHER”.

President Trump’s 1st 100 days, Facts and Fiction
President Trump’s 1st 100 days have been interesting to say the least. A lot of Trump supporters see nothing wrong and Trump is doing a fine job. Those who are apposed to Trump see everything that he has done is wrong. And then there are those like me who are outside observers that look at the 1st 100 days with mixed views.
There is nothing wrong with Trump supporters, supporting President Trump. They do have a bias but they never denied they didn’t have a bias toward president Trump.
Those in the less freedom camp of our country see nothing good or positive in the Trump administration. They made up their minds long before the November 8th 2016 presidential election that Donald Trump was evil and needed to be stopped. No amount of proof will sway these folks.
I would have to give president Trumps 1st 100 days a B- to a B. His stance on immigration, regulation, and the over reaching bureaucracy is spot on constitutional. His ideas on trade, the economy and foreign policy need a lot of constitutional work, but one thing is for certain with president Trump, if you make a persuasive argument for something he is most likely to change his position on it. President Trump is many thing but an ideologue he is not!!!

Where is the audio/video of AP’s interview with president Trump?
In today’s news environment, stories frequently run ahead of known facts. Stories are run and posted online with very little if any second source confirmation. And when someone tries to find a second source so they can report or comment on a story, they can’t find it.
AP’s Julie Pace interviewed president Donald Trump on April 23, 2017 and all that is online is a transcript of the interview, no audio or video as of this morning is available to compare the transcript to.
Huffington Post’s Alana Horowitz Satlin ran a story entitled 7 Baffling Moments From Donald Trump’s AP Interviewbased solely on the AP transcript of the interview. When I tweeted her if she has a copy of the audio/video of the interview, she tweeted that she trusted AP wouldn’t fabricate raw quotes.
Social media is being lit up by this interview and too many folks are running the story as is without checking the audio/video source to compare it to the transcript. This is shoddy journalism, and this is why we are so divided politically in America today!!!

Why don’t we learn the lessons of history?
We are going through history as we speak. Some folks go through life and have very little impact on history and that’s ok, not everyone needs to make history to be important. Some folks go through life hoping to make an impact on history. When you try to impact or write history, the story isn’t always going to be a good one. Sometimes folks or groups of folks in history make a pretty good mess in their time, and it is remembered by future generations.
To go back through history and try to erase your history because of political expedience is laughable at best. Someone some where is always going to remember or dig up the facts about your history and share it with other folks. But that is exactly what the Democrat party and those on the left are doing, trying to hide their sordid history from the public by tearing down monuments and memorials to the past. The leftist of the world have always been on the wrong side of history, and if we let folks forget this, they will repeat the errors of the past and cause untold sufferings, that could have been avoided if they weren’t aloud to erase and rewrite history!!!

The real war on science, and our boarders
Earth day 2017 has come and gone, and nothing has changed. The real science deniers were out in force trying to get folks to believe that humans are cussing climate change and trying to use the force of government to bolster their point of view. Even Bill Nye “not the science guy” dressed down CNN for having a climate denier on their broadcast. Bottom line, human caused climate change has never been proven, and I don’t think it ever will be.
When you politicize science, scientist are chasing after the grant money that politicians are taking from the tax payers to support a political position. When scientist chase the money, they themselves become corrupt and sometimes so do their findings!!!
The debate over a boarder wall is still ragging on in America. The progressives and libertarians in the country want open boarders for different reasons. Most folks who want open boarders, don’t see the actual cost savings of a boarder wall, mainly wages to maintain a larger than needed human presence on the boarder. With a wall, you would need less boarder enforcement by people and would be able to concentrate more on enforcing the law instead of chasing illegals crossing the boarder.

Freedom of speech, war, taxes, and immigration
The news this week has been all over the board. Freedom of speech abuses in Berkly by the ATIFA groups, and the democrats led by Howard Dean are all for shutting down free speech that they don’t agree with.
We still don’t know who used the chemicals in Syria, and it doesn’t look like we are going to anytime soon. France says they will prove president Assad used the chemical weapons, but shouldn’t someone have already started the investigation days ago?
The IRS filing dead line was April 17 at midnight. Liberal groups across the country marched on Saturday April 15, but it wasn’t to protest taxes, they were protesting president Trumps refusal to release his taxes. Funny thing is, liberals don’t trust the government they love to do a good job investigating if there is any wrong doing in president Trumps tax returns. Folks you just can’t make this stuff up!!!
And the dreamer that is being deported, Mr Montes, isn’t exactly a law abiding citizen. Seems the left needs to dig deeper before they report on a story. The left never lets the facts get in the way of a good story!!!

Looks like it’s going to be a fun day looking at the news headlines for today. I do go and use left wing media outlets to see what they are saying about the news that is happening this week. Most of the time I get a good laugh out of their take, spin, and analysis.
The poor in GA are forced to pay fines or probation cost because of the crimes they commit, can’t pay the fine don’t do the crime!!!
The watermelon environmentalist are trying to get politically funded, consensuses seeking scientist out to march this Saturday April 22nd. What I find funny about all of this, there is so much misinformation being feed to the American public, folks have just checked out of the argument.
Anita Hill and Bill O’Reilly are both in the news, and sexual harassment is the issue of the day.
And finally, the ANTIFA USA groups need to look to Venezuela and see what president Nicholas Maduro is doing to his country, and I do mean his country. If you want to get your facts right, and I doubt that ANTIFA want’s to get their facts right because they don’t fit their narrative. What president Nicholas Maduro is doing is what fascism really looks like!!

Convention of States, this is important!!!
As we get further away in time from the framing of the United States Constitution, we see that the government that was established by the US Constitution is drifting further away from it’s constitutional constraints!!!
Social democrats would like nothing better than to do away with constitutional constraints on the federal government. Activist judges are their best allies when it come to making changes or stopping changes they disagree with. Freedom and liberty are anathema to them, and they will do anything to stop Americans from exercising their freedoms and liberties!!!
Congress and government in general will never vote away powers they have taken unconstitutionally!!! It is up to WE the People and the States that created the federal government in the first place to reign in the US federal government!!! An article V convention of states is the Peoples last best hope to take back our country from power hungry politicians and left wing social democrats!!!

Are war powers the same as a declaration of war?
There has been much controversy over this question and we are going to explore it on today’s show. I know folks want to streamline politics as much as possible, but to take something as important as committing our country to war, we need to slow down and take out time.
If the continental United states or her territories where attacked directly, you would find very few Americans who would disagree with a president, defending our country without a declaration of war. To repel an attack is in the purview of the commander and chiefs authority.
But if the continental United States or her territories is not directly attacked, does the same hold true? If an American interest over seas is attacked, can the president act without congressional approval? To go to war with a country to effect regime change, is that within congress’s or the presidents power?
