One of the issues that the progressives in America never take into account is the cost of regulatory compliance. It always take additional man hours and extra personnel to meet the reporting requirements of regulations.
John Stossel reports every year on how many regulations are added to the federal codes every year, and the amount is massive. With all of these new regulations come compliance and reports that need to be filled out to show you are in compliance. Obamacare took this to a all new low with individual reporting requirements, and extra paperwork from your employer to prove to the IRS you have health insurance.
Net Neutrality will be no different. If it is allowed to stand, it will grow into a regulatory nightmare that no progressive could or would have predicted. And who actually pays for the cost of compliance? The consumer in higher internet cost, and less innovation, and ultimately less freedom.
