Episode 936:
Whenever government regulate any industries, they are creating monopolies. These monopolies oppress competition and new entrants into any regulated industries. Most regulations are sought by one group to oppress another group, it doesn’t matter if you are talking about private groups of citizens or companies.
In the late 1800’s the dairy farmers of NY used regulations to stifle the competition from oleomargarine manufactures. Instead of the dairy farmers working to make a superior product, they went to the federal government to stifle the competition of the oleomargarine through regulations.
The internet generation seems not to know or care how regulations and government cause chaos in the economy. The internet is a big part of the economy today and that’s why we need to get the government out of the internet so competition and local activism against government created monopolies can truly make the internet open to all!!!
Daily Bible Reading: 1Corinthians 1:4-8 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, 5 that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, 6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, 7 so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, 8 who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
