Justice Neal Gorsuch for all intents and purposes, is a textual originalist. In other words he believe in the original intent of the words used by those who penned the document. This is a good thing for today’s society, for too long judges have been substituting what they believe the law should say and not what the law actually says!!!
Not all debt is bad, but I believe public debt is detrimental to our economy. The US government should not be running budget deficits, or an operating debt. Both are adding to the overall national debt that must be serviced with tax payer dollars, this is not sound fiscal policy. Spending should go back to only those powers enumerated in Article 1 of the US Constitution. It’s not the governments money in the first place!!!
There is a lot of talk about the GOP tax cuts. Democrats say it’s just more voodoo economics, Libertarians don’t want tax cuts until we cut spending. I say get what we can get, step by step, and keep fighting the good fight to shrink the size of the federal government!!! We didn’t get here overnight, and we will not fix it overnight either!!!
