Constitution Party vs. Libertarian Party
For the purpose of full disclosure, if you have never listen to The Dan Clements Show, I’m a member of the Constitution Party and have been sense 2007. I do have a bias, but I always try to remain objective. Having said that there are some misconceptions about the Constitution Party that needs to be cleared up.
The biggest one is that the Constitution Party wants to turn America into a theocracy. Why do people say this? It’s because as a political party we recognize the sovereignty of God and the blessings that flow to us from the Creator. We recognize the freedom and liberty that comes from a belief in God, and the free will that God recognizes in us. As a New Testament Christian, my Christian walk inform all other aspects of my life. However there are fundamental truths that come from God’s word that if we ignore as a nation, we will not be a nation for long. We know as a political party that legislation is not a cure all, but some government is necessary for any nation to exist and freedoms and liberty to be protected!!!
