What sources we use to gain knowledge are important. Are brains are like computers in this way, garbage in, garbage out. Most folks live such busy lives, that they just watch or read whatever is at hand, never verifying the source for facts and truth!!!
Take any topic in the show title for today’s episode, and you will get a hundred different ideas and positions. And most of those ideas and positions will be wrong because of the bias of the source. Trying to hide your bias is the worst thing anyone can do, because if give folks a false idea of who you are and what you are about.
I always tell folks I will stand by my ideas, positions and beliefs until someone can prove them wrong. I will always allow someone to correct me, with facts and truth. I will always tell someone my bias towards anything when asked. The only way two folks can come to the truth is with healthy skepticism, facts, and proof. Without these three things folks will just be wandering around in the dark thinking they are in the light, not a good place to be.
