It has been 230 since the signing of the US Constitution, and our Republic still stands. Our Republic is battered and bruised by political relativism, by trying to tell the people that it can’t possibly address the societal ills of the modern age.
The biggest problem is, we as a society have stopped teaching the Constitutional values that the framers had laid on in the US constitution. The principals of limited government, freedom and liberty have but been forgotten by today’s generation. Today’s generation has not been taught that we are a Republic not a Democracy. They hear talking point driven narratives by the anti-freedom crowd that we are a Democracy, and the people should vote by mob rule and allow a select few to govern the masses.
As Americans we have forgotten our heritage of freedom and liberty and bought into the notion that a few intellectual elites know best how we ought to live our live. I heard Ronald Reagan voice this very same opinion years ago. The framers of our Constitution knew better, and knew that Americans are the rightful captains of their own ships, and could decide right or wrong how to live their own lives in freedom, liberty and peace!!!
