There is a country song by Aaron Tippin titled” you’ve got to stand for something” and in it Aaron Tippin talks about a father that had principals that he knew and understood and lived his life by.

We need to know what we believe, how we believe it, and most importantly how we live our lives by our beliefs. And the biggest point people miss about living your beliefs, is that they need to be based in morality, reality, virtue, and truth!!! Never ever do I use my beliefs to do harm to someone else. Only with reason, compassion, and love will I ever sit down and speak to folks about what I believe. I can never ever use violence to persuade someone to believe different about anything in their lives!!! Only when violence is used against me to try to change my beliefs, or principals, can I respond in kind to defend myself or those around me!!!
