Just like I believe that the separation of Church and state is a political fallacy and people twist what Thomas Jefferson told the Baptist Association of Connecticut. The 1st amendment places the restriction on government when it comes to establishing a religion, no where in the 1st amendment is there a restriction of the people in regards to their exercising their beliefs. In other word Christians are to be Christians 24/7 and can’t leave their religious beliefs and principals at any door especially a political door. But folks like those at the Freedom From Religion Foundation twist what the founders and Thomas Jefferson said to make people believe that religion has no place in the public square.
Those same people believe that the government and only the government can run our economy and would rather have Christian principals left out of the discussion. Can the government run the economy efficiently? Can the government fight the laws of economics and win? Just look at the state of our economy and tell me if the government is doing a good job!!! We the People know our own wants, needs and desires better than the government, and it is the consumer not government who should have the last word on the economy, period!!!
Daily Bible reading: Eph 4:1-6 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
