Dan Clements, Your Constitutional Warrior
Is the US Constitution still relevant for today and the problems we face today? Some folks in American think that the US Constitution is old and out dated and we need new fresh ideas for today. One of the oddest criticisms about the founding fathers is that they couldn’t foresee the issues and technologies of today!!! The founding fathers were not about technology, they were about the freedom and liberty to bring about technological advances!!!
AS far as interpreting and understanding the US Constitution, it only take a little time and energy to find out what the founding generation was talking about!!! And yes sometimes the debates they had about the framing of the Constitution was about what words to use so the meaning of the Constitution could be understood!!! Some folks need to get off intellectual high horse and read the Constitution and understand it for what it is, a constraint on the federal government to protect US citizens rights and freedoms!!!
Daily Bible reading: Psa 94:1-8 O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongs— O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth! 2 Rise up, O Judge of the earth; Render punishment to the proud. 3 LORD, how long will the wicked, How long will the wicked triumph? 4 They utter speech, and speak insolent things; All the workers of iniquity boast in themselves. 5 They break in pieces Your people, O LORD, And afflict Your heritage. 6 They slay the widow and the stranger, And murder the fatherless. 7 Yet they say, “The LORD does not see, Nor does the God of Jacob understand.” 8 Understand, you senseless among the people; And you fools, when will you be wise?
