Dan Clements, Your Constitutional Warrior
You hear this phrase “matter of interpretation” being bantered about all the time, but what are people saying when they use this phrase? Most of the time but not always they insert the phrase “matter of interpretation” because they don’t want people to come to the same conclusion as the original writer intended!
Whether we are talking about the Bible or the US Constitution, there are people out there who do not want you to understand them, because then you wouldn’t need them. You name any major denominational figure like the pope, or any of the televangelist, or any major politician, they need you to be dependent on their interpretation of things instead of how things really are in reality!
Folks it is really easy to know the truth of a matter, define the words as they were originally used, keep things in context, and most importantly don’t interject your thoughts and ideas on the original authors or author!!!
Daily Bible reading: Rom 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
