We have been talking this week about the many aspects of authority. What is authority, by whose authority do we act, and today we are going to discuss where does authority come from politically?
Politicians all over the world claim to have the authority to rule or govern the nation they live in, but where did that authority come from? Monarchs and royalty have claimed authority as a divine right, are they correct in this assumption? Do we have the authority to tell people how to live their lives? Where does authority come from?
