Most Americans are looking at this election as a must win for their candidate. A must win for most folks means they need to compromise on their principals, which means compromising their character and ethics.
From a Christian standpoint, I follow the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ! Two things I look for in a candidate are morals and character. Do their morals line up with Bible authority, and are they a person of good character. Do they do what is moral and right by following the law, when it doesn’t violate Gods law, and do they do what is right even when no one is watching?
I compare the candidates I’m looking at with the Bible, the supreme law for all of mankind and the US Constitution, the supreme limiting law for the federal government. What do you compare your candidates against?
Daily Bible reading: Php 4:8-9 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
