One of the hardest things to accept in life is that we don’t know as much as we thing we do. The human ego is a fragile thing and everyone has an ego. Egos manifest themselves in varying degrees, but we all have one, and sometime our egos get in the way of our better judgment.
A know it all is someone who is never wrong and knows what they are taking about, at least in their own minds. Know it all’s believe they know what is best in every situation they encounter, and will defend their position to extreme lengths, even if they are wrong.
A wise person know what they don’t know, it may not feed their egos, but a wise person is not concerned with egos, they are concerned with facts and truth. A wise person is always in pursuit of knowledge that can be verified and corroborate. And a wise person never forces or defends an erroneous position, because in the end the truth always wins out John 8:32!!!
