How to protect Freedom and Liberty!!!

This is a very good question, how do we protect our freedoms and liberties? Do we allow the state to protect them, or the federal government? They both play a role but who has the ultimate responsibility of protecting our freedoms and liberty and in what manner are they protected?
The way that America was set up, it’s up to the people of the United States of America to promote, advance and protect our freedoms and liberties!!! Not only here in America but in the world also. I’m convinced that governments don’t have the moral authority to promote and advance freedom and liberty, but they have a constitutional role in protecting it!!!
A bigger question that needs to be answered is where do my freedoms and liberties begin and end when it comes to discrimination laws? We need to define what constitutes discrimination, and more importantly who gets to decide? Can we, for instance, discriminate against peoples choices? Is it the case that we can’t discriminate against a person for attributes they have no control over like race or scientific gender?
These and other questions need to be answered properly in the court of public opinion, so our freedoms and liberties stay intact and another generation can enjoy them like we have!!!
