I was almost 6 years old when Martin Luther King Jr was shot to death on April 4, 1968. I don’t remember anything about that day, and really only learned about him in American history in high school. I have admired MLK ever since then.
His life was cut short by a hate filled racist, who couldn’t see the future MLK was talking about, and for many today, the dream MLK was talking about has been forgotten. MLK’s message wasn’t meant to be for just blacks in the south, but for every freedom and liberty loving American for all time!!!
