Episode 955:
The right of the people to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. This right applies to all levels of government including local school boards. It doen’t matter where in America the school board is, this right of the people still applies!!!
The Vermilion Parish school board in Louisiana allowed a teacher to be handcuffed for not following a resource officers directions during a school board meeting. I do believe Deyshia Hargrave was well within her rights at the school board meeting, especially after she was recognized to speak.
Any law enforcement officer needs to be very careful in removing anyone from a public meeting of any government in America. There are citizens rights involved, and deference should always be given to the citizen not the government entity, period!!!
Daily Bible Reading: Psalms 55:22-23 Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. 23 But You, O God, shall bring them down to the pit of destruction; Bloodthirsty and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; But I will trust in You.
Quotemeal: “I have had prayers answered — most strangely so sometimes — but I think our heavenly Father’s loving-kindness has been even more evident in what He has refused me.” — Lewis Carroll
